During law school I was employed as a Deputy Clerk, Auditor and Bailiff in the Probate Court of Jackson County Missouri. During my two years working in the Probate Court, I learned the importance of good estate planning. I also learned the basics of trying a case before the Probate Court. After law school I worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Charles Shangler in the Missouri Western District Court of Appeals where I honed my skills as a legal writer.. I am admitted to the practice of law in the state of Missouri before all State court including the Western District of Missouri Court of Appeals and the Federal District Court of Missouri. I am a member of the Missouri Bar and a current or former member of the National Trial Lawyers Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City, Missouri and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
