The goal of effective counsel is an understanding of the issues, application of legal principals, and good judgment. I have spent nearly a decade developing the skills in each of these areas. After graduating in 2003 from Gonzaga University with a joint JD/MBA degree, I have focused on real estate and commercial litigation in my legal practice. My clients have included a myriad of businesses and individuals - from Fortune 500 companies to individuals and from multi-million dollar disputes to lawsuits concerning a few thousand dollars. And with each of these clients, I have taken the time to apply those skills that bring favorable results.

Andrew Dixon is a Managing Partner of Bowler Dixon & Twitchell LLP. He concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, business and commercial law, landlord and tenant, and bankruptcy law, including significant transactional and litigation experience in these areas. Mr. Dixon assists his clients in negotiating and drafting asset purchase and sale agreements, promissory notes, security agreements, entity formation documents, commercial and residential leases and other related legal documents. Mr. Dixon also enjoys a substantial local counsel practice, assisting attorneys from around the United States with legal issues arising in Nevada. Mr. Dixon has served as lead counsel on multi-million dollar transactions involving the purchase and sale of business assets, commercial and residential real estate, as well as other significant transactions involving the purchase and sale of stock and business assets. He also assists clients with commercial leasing transactions and litigation involving commercial landlords and tenants. Mr. Dixon has successfully represented a wide range of clients, including business owners, general contractors, land owners, developers, shopping center owners, landlords, tenants, lessors and lessees of commercial goods (including aircraft and aircraft parts, vehicles, construction equipment, etc.) and lenders in both simple and complex litigation matters.. Mr. Dixon commenced his legal career as a commercial litigation associate with Beckley Singleton, Chtd. (now merged with Lewis and Roca, LLP) in Las Vegas, Nevada. While in law school, Mr. Dixon served as Judicial Extern to the Honorable Robert C. Jones, United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada (subsequently a Federal District Court Judge), where he broadened his understanding of commercial disputes in the context of bankruptcy. These experiences allow him to counsel his business and commercial clients with a unique forward-looking approach. He also is a published author, legal education lecturer, and has had his litigation work lead to notable published opinions.. Mr. Dixon earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in 2003 and his B.A. in International Studies from Brigham Young University in 1999. Mr. Dixon is a lifelong resident of Las Vegas. In his spare time, Mr. Dixon enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, serving in his church, and (if any time is left over) hunting and fishing. He is fluent in Spanish.

Adam H. Clarkson, originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, moved to Nevada in 2006. Adam’s outstanding academic performance was recognized both by the College of Charleston during his undergraduate studies and by the University of South Carolina where he garnered his law degree. He is currently licensed to practice law in Nevada. Mr. Clarkson’s practice of law is exclusively dedicated to representing homeowners and homeowner associations as general counsel. As general counsel he has excelled and gained substantial experience in advising HOA Boards. His undergraduate degree in finance has been invaluable in assisting boards to understand all aspects of association finance. His analysis of reserve deficit funding for condominium conversions was heavily relied upon by the Nevada Real Estate Division Common Interest Community Commission in forming their advisory opinion on the subject.

Joshua D. Carlson received his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May of 2009.  Mr. Carlson worked as a summer intern to the Honorable Sarah Evans Barker of the United States District Court, Southern District of Indiana.. Mr. Carlson has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Colorado State University and a master’s in Business Administration from Valparaiso University.  He presently practices in the areas of real estate and transactional law.

Christopher Reade, the firm's founding member, has brought a wealth of experience and diversity of clients to the firm.  Mr. Reade graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska Honors Program, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy in 1993.   He then attended University of Nebraska College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate with Distinction in 1996.  Mr. Reade is admitted to practice before the State and Federal Bars of Nevada, Arizona, Colorado and Nebraska, as well as being admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court.. I graduated with Distinction from University of Nebraska School of Law (J.D., 1995). Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in 1991 (B.A., Economics, 1991);. Having practiced law in Nevada for more than 20 years, I have seen and handled many types of cases. My background is in real estate and small business representation. I have also developed experience in insurance bad faith litigation, personal injury, and family law (including divorces and child custody) and other areas.. Given this background I am able to handle most cases and problems that come through our doors.
