Robin L. Aanstad opened Aanstad Law, PLLC in March of 2020.. Prior to opening Aanstad Law, PLLC, Robin worked for Brudvik Law Office. Robin has been working in the legal industry for over a decade. She started her legal career in January 2006 as a paralegal, working at two area law firms during her career. During her time in law school, Robin served an externship at the Cass County Public Defender's Office and worked as a law clerk at Brudvik Law Office. Growing up in a farming family in western North Dakota, Kaitlin understands the unique legal challenges that come with the changing dynamic of the Bakken region. Later I  graduated from Detroit College of Law, now known as Michigan State University College of Law, and began working at a respected law firm which specialized in civil litigation and trial work. A short time later, I was made partner and continued to handle a variety of court cases at both the trial and appellate level, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. My areas of practice included commercial and business litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, employment law, labor negotiations and real estate. I also participated as a hearing officer for alternative dispute resolution forums and mediation hearings..
