My question is: Does the same 91-day notice requirement apply to tenants who want to move out, or is the tenant’s notice period different? If it matters, here is the terminology from our lease: Month-to-Month Tenancies. If this Agreement becomes a month-to-month tenancy, rent shall be uniformly apportioned per day during the notice period, which begins upon the other party's receipt of notice of termination as per the following notice periods: i. Notice by Landlord. Landlord may terminate a month-to-month tenancy by providing 30 days' written notice to Tenant. ii. Notice by Tenant. They told me they owned the car for 8 years and it was there moms they drove it to Austin a few times and that’s why it had high mileage through the years. Location: AURORA COLORADO. I heard this is highly illegal. He lives with within his Brother’s Girlfriends condo. He pays rent directly to girlfriend in law’s mom. He has been living there for about 9 months. So I’m assuming he has “squatters/ renters rights” he’s freaking out because she just changed all the cameras in the house and updated them while he was gone on vacation. In doing so she went into his rented room without permission and moved his furniture to install a “camera bridge WiFi extender” for outdoor cameras. There are also indoor cameras. In the house. They used to be pointed in living areas to “keep track of the cat”. Now the new ones are pointed directly at doors, inside, and can still see inside the home. My bf is pissed. He never actually signed a lease contract with them. I think because they know what they’re doing is wrong and would get screwed because doing something like this is just wild and an invasion of privacy. What exactly sort of case do we have here? Is it worth pursuing? He told her it was illegal to have the cameras in the house when he first moved in. But there is no legal writing of the notice he told her that. And at first he didn’t care. Location: Colorado I (35f) had to call the police on my son's father (47m) for stealing and ingesting my son's (13m) Ritalin. He was charged for a drug misdemeanor and has to appear in court. Like it says above-mentioned, I am trying to obtain the police report of the arrest. I contacted the police report records, had all the correct information and documents and I was met with the following statement: "A public criminal record does not exist with respect to the defendant." They encouraged me to contact either the county or municipal courts. What does this mean and what do I do? Thank you

Location: Colorado Hey everyone, hoping to get some input on this. I signed a lease in March 2023 and paid a $1,500 non-refundable pet fee for my dogs. There was no monthly pet rent. The lease specifically states “Pet fee of $1500 is non refundable. Any damage done to the interior or yard is subject to lessee safety deposit.” In January 2024, Colorado’s HB 23-1068 went into effect, which caps pet deposits at $300 per household, requires them to be refundable, and prohibits non-refundable pet fees. In February 2025, my landlord and I signed an Agreement to Extend Tenancy through May 31, 2026. The extension says “All other terms and conditions of the Residential Lease executed on 3/9/2023 will apply to the extended time period.” The form also includes a notice stating that the agreement is required to comply with the Truth in Renting Act and applicable state law. No additional pet deposits were collected. Now that I’ve moved out (June 2026), my landlord is keeping the $1,500 as non-refundable and deducting pet-related carpet damage (stains from our older pup having a couple accidents) from our security deposit My argument is that the February 2025 extension created a new agreement under the new law, and the non-refundable pet fee provision should have been voided at that point.
