I have been a practicing attorney for over 20 years. Most of my legal career has been focused on family law; however, I started my litigation experience in San Diego as a prosecutor. I also worked as an attorney for the United Nations Mission in Kosovo and taught International Law at the University of Denver. I converted my love of family law and international law into a practice of International Family Law. About 30% of our practice at Frost & Beck, PC, involves an international component; 60% of our practice is domestic family law inclucing child custody and divorce, and 10% of our practice is family law appeals. I have won appeals in the 10th Federal Circuit; Colorado Court of Appeals and California Court of Appeals. As of January 18, 2016, I have never lost an appeal.

Growing up in Oklahoma, I was frequently invovled with children and education. Apart from the usual babysitting, I was also very involved helping with my mother's first grade classroom. I attended Booker T. Washington High School, which is a nationally recognized magnet school. After graduation, I attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with an associated minor in Philosophy from UNM. I began attending the University of Denver College of Law in 2000, from which I received my Juris Doctorate in 2003.. I did not take the traditional path to becoming an attorney, however. After graduating from the University of Denver I moved to Dillon, Colorado. Prior to becoming a dedicated family law attorney, I was a children's snowboard instructor for Breckenridge Ski Resort for four years. I returned to Denver in 2008 to briefly work for a personal injury firm. I did not find that personal injury was a good fit for me. I began doing intern work for Colorado Legal Services/Metro Volunteer Lawyers in 2009. This is where I received my introduction to family law. I began working for myself in 2010 and have not looked back.. I truly am dedicated to helping people through their divorces, custody issues and all other aspects that involve family law. The cases are seldom easy from an emotional standpoint. Being a mother, myself, to three young children I understand the heartache that can result from having to share custody of your children. However, I also understand the importance of having both parents being invloved in the children's lives. I offer caring and zealous representation and promise to never stop doing my very best for Colorado families.

A native New Yorker, Clyde grew up on Long Island. Tired of the cold weather, Clyde decided to attend law school in Miami. After a couple of years, Clyde realized he missed living in a city that had four seasons; however, he was conflicted about returning to New York, as he did not miss the traffic. Clyde compromised on Colorado, where he has practiced family law for four years where he has helped many clients through a difficult and uncertain period of their lives.. Prior to attending law school, Clyde worked as a litigation paralegal for Animal Rights Attorney. Together they represented dogs who were deemed dangerous and scheduled to be euthanized by local towns. Using state pet trust statutes, they were able to gain legal standing to represent the dog, rather than the original owner. Representing the dog rather than the owner made many of the local towns more willing to settle their cases as the towns did not have to fear the dog being returned to an often irresponsible dog owner.. A common failing among family law attorneys is that they do not spend enough time with their clients going over the facts. I believe it is an attorney’s job to comprehend their client’s struggles and convey those struggles to the court in a clear and concise manner. An attorney is an advocate for your story, and you need an attorney who is well versed in the facts to tell your story.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Attorney Christina Lukacsy Friedman earned her B.A. in history from the University of California, Davis. Buchanan, and was a judicial fellow for the Honorable Michael J. Vallejos in the 2nd judicial district.. Christina has dedicated her legal career to the practice of family law, which has also included estate planning. With extensive experience litigating all types of business and family law disputes, Chris advises his clients through life’s most difficult legal challenges.. He concentrates over half his practice helping couples through divorce and parental rights disputes: spousal maintenance and child support, division of marital property and marital debt, child custody and parenting time. He has also litigated countless cases for breach of contract, handled all types of real property disputes, and still enjoys advising businesses and their owners through ownership disputes and commercial litigation. Whether assisting closely held business owners resolve ownership and dissolution disputes, fighting fiduciary duty claims, or litigating complex claims to real estate, Chris’s experiences representing businesses help him effectively advocate for his domestic clients when their rights to the marital property are on the line. Chris also understands that, whether it’s a divorce or a business dispute, effectively solving legal problems requires a combination of negotiation and litigation. Chris draws on his experience to tailor practical solutions to his clients’ complex problems. But when negotiation is not productive, he enjoys diligently advocating for his clients in court.. Chris obtained his law degree from the University of North Carolina and his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University. He practiced commercial litigation in his home town of Kansas City for 15 years before moving to Colorado Springs, which he now enthusiastically calls home. Chris enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, camping and everything else outdoors.
