In the former position, I handled all aspects of criminal matters and conducted numerous trials; in the latter employment, I investigated and litigated cases of potential federal securities law violations by corporate entities and individuals.. I am bilingual and fluent in Spanish. I am a member in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association and a member of various local organizations including the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Defense Bar, the Hispanic Bar Association and the Arapahoe County Bar Association.. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and my law degree from George Washington University, where I was notes editor of the law review and president of the Hispanic Law Students Association.
