At the Andres R. Guevara Law Office, P.C., I provide ordinary people with skilled legal representation and counseling.. My singular background and legal experience assists me greatly in doing so. Prior to establishing my firm, I worked for nearly a decade as an Assistant District Attorney with the New York County District Attorney's Office and as an Enforcement Attorney in Denver with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, respectively. In the former position, I handled all aspects of criminal matters and conducted numerous trials; in the latter employment, I investigated and litigated cases of potential federal securities law violations by corporate entities and individuals.. I am bilingual and fluent in Spanish. I am a member in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association and a member of various local organizations including the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Defense Bar, the Hispanic Bar Association and the Arapahoe County Bar Association.. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and my law degree from George Washington University, where I was notes editor of the law review and president of the Hispanic Law Students Association.
