Ashley Hollan Couch has been immersed in the arts her entire life, defining herself as an artist and advocate for the creative community. By the time she reached high school, Ashley's visual artwork had been featured both at the High Museum of Art as well as at the twin towers of the Floyd Building in Atlanta, Georgia. Ashley attended college at Duke University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Public Policy and Visual Art/Art History and spent a semester studying art and art history in Florence, Italy at Studio Art Centers International (SACI). Ashley then matriculated to law school at the University of Denver, where she held various positions to build her business and legal entertainment experience. In law school, Ashley was the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Staff Editor for the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, President of Phi Delta Phi legal ethics honors fraternity and Secretary for the Natural Resources and Environmental Law Society. Her internships included work with two Duke University entities, a start-up company, the Fulton County Conflict Defender, the DeKalb County Public Defender, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service Realty Division, Rock the Earth, a nonprofit environmental advocacy organization that partners with the music industry, a concert promotions internship with AEG Live, an internship with top hockey agents at K.O. Sports, Inc., and work as an Associate with Tennessee Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts.
