Bush signed into law in 2006.. At Emory, Danny served as an executive managing editor of the Emory Law Journal. He also received the Henry Quillian Prize in Contracts for Best Overall Performance in Contracts and Commercial Law, and won the Best Oralist Award in the Spring 2008 Intraschool Moot Court Competition.. Danny was born and raised in New York City, but has lived in Atlanta since 1989. He is the author of The Terrorist Next Door: The Militia Movement and the Radical Right published by Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin’s Press in 2002. His publisher nominated the book for a National Book Award and a Pulitzer Prize.. He is also the author of Scaling Waller: How Courts Have Eroded the Sixth Amendment Public Trial Right, 59 Emory Law Journal 493 (2010) and The Case for Extending and Amending the Voting Rights Act: Voting Rights Litigation, 1982-2006, with Laughlin McDonald (American Civil Liberties Union Voting Rights Project, 2006).. His other writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times Book Review section and the New York Times Op-Ed page.. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Claimants’ Lawyers.. Daniel F. Farnsworth attended Georgia State University College of Law and has been practicing since 2005.
