I am a third generation lawyer from Augusta, Georgia. I graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1989. Upon graduation, I worked for my father, Kenneth R. Chance, who was a sole practitioner in Augusta. I then began pursuit of my M.B.A. and J.D. at Georgia State University in Atlanta. I served as Co-Editor of Legislation for the Georgia State University Law Review. I graduated from Georgia State in 1995 with a M.B.A. and a J.D., magna cum laude. I have also served as a member of the Advisory Committee on Legislation of the State Bar of Georgia.. I have personally experienced the loss of a parent and the loss of a child.
