I retire with many memories and emotions, some that give me pride and satisfaction, a few that I'd like to forget. I wish I could retire with as much pride in the legal profession as I had when I started but, unfortunately, the past decade has shown me too many lawyers whose character and motivation have convinced me that it's high time to get out.
