Location: Kentucky, USA (office); place of work: Ohio ^I wanted to mention this because I work as a contractor at a security company. The office I was hired out of is based in Kentucky, but all of the companies I actually guard at are in Ohio. Idk if that’s information anyone needs. TLDR; I was promised women’s-sized uniforms when I was hired, was made to wear men’s sizes, am uncomfortable at work, and have not yet received a properly fitting uniform after requesting one. Is this some form of gender discrimination/ if I have not been punished in any way for the way my uniform looks, does that negate my ability to potentially force them to get me a properly fitting uniform? So, I’m a relatively small woman and when I filled out my onboarding forms at work, I was provided with a uniform sheet where I could specify men’s or women’s and my measurements (Xs top, s pants, 30” inseam, etc), so I made the reasonable assumption that I would receive a women’s size uniform. When my uniform came, it was absolutely not the correct sizing at all, which was okay, so they ordered another one but asked for my neck size—if you’re a man or have purchased a men’s dress shirt, that is how they are sized. Location: Kenton County, Kentucky. My former fiancée and I jointly owned a house and were both borrowers on the mortgage. We were never married. The house was sold and the mortgage was paid off earlier this year. Citizens Bank issued a final mortgage escrow refund of $1,771.86. An earlier check dated February 2026 was apparently sent to our former address and was never negotiated. Citizens is now sending a replacement check to me. Citizens confirmed that the replacement check will be payable to: [My name] AND [former fiancée’s name] I contacted Citizens and asked whether they could: Issue two separate checks; Change “and” to “or”; Issue the check only to me with authorization to send her share; Or provide another form of payment. Citizens told me they would not do any of those things and would only issue one check payable jointly to both borrowers. I am also requesting that answer in writing. I contacted the Fifth Third branch in Newport, Kentucky, where I bank. They confirmed that both payees must be physically present in the branch at the same time, show identification and endorse the check. However, the bank is willing to place us in completely separate offices so we would not have to see or interact with each other. I have repeatedly contacted my former fiancée in writing. Location: Kentucky Hey all, first time posting in this sub Reddit. My girlfriend has been in an ongoing custody battle for the past 8 months with her ex. It's been very messy, but the just of the story is that my girlfriend's ex has been an absentee parent for the last two years, and filed for 50-50 custody last year. My girlfriend makes about 80k per year. Her ex works for his godfather's company as a CFO. In one of his motions, HE filed for child support and furnished very bogus tax returns which showed that he was making about $50k per year. This included a 'business expense' for a company truck. The judge refused to sign that motion which lead to the first hearing. At the first hearing, GFs lawyer examined him in his tax returns and I was told that the questioning went very well. He was panicking and divulged that he filed his taxes himself, and was floundering during several questions.The second hearing date is on three weeks, however her lawyers office emailed her today that the judge signed the motion so that the child is on a 3-2-3 schedule and she owes him $700 per month. The hearing is still scheduled. Her ex is rich with family money. His mom bought his house 10 years ago, he's the CFO at his family company and almost has no expenses.
