I am originally from Pennsylvania, but relocated to Maine after serving as an Electronics Technician in the US NAVY. I attended the University of Southern Maine and the University of Maine School of Law. After graduating from law school with honors, I worked as an associate at a firm in Portland, where I practiced family law and criminal defense exclusively.. Elliott L. He writes “Rearview Mirror,” an award-winning column on current affairs for the Lewiston Sun Journal, and in 2010 he published the book “Lucifer’s Child,” which explored the causes and implications of domestic abuse through a brutal 1984 child murder in Auburn. He formerly served on the Auburn School Committee and Planning Board. He is also a musician who plays trumpet with the Auburn Community Concert Band..
