I have been empowering businesses and individuals for over 10 years. Most of my clients mirror who I am as a person: self-made, hardworking, tenacious, dedicated, innovative, and fearless. I have had the unique opportunity to see the practice of law from a variety of different viewpoints having worked for a North Carolina State Court prior to going to law school, clerked for the Department of Justice during law school, and working for a large United States Government contractor and private law firms after graduating law school.. I am a Master Gardener with the North Carolina Mecklenburg County Extension Master Gardeners, and a member of Frazier Park Community Garden.  I am also a member of Carolina Breast Friends where I try to offer advice and comfort to individuals who have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.. After being the first in my family to graduate from college, I left the comfort of my hometown in Eastern North Carolina and moved to Washington, D.C., where I quickly became a foodie.  I prefer to spend my free tim surrounded by nature and can often be seen gardening with my partner George in the front yard of their home, riding my bike to the office, and walking out cats, Roger Parker and Marco Money, on a leash in Freedom Park.
