While there he represented the State in all aspects of juvenile delinquency cases from intake to trial, prosecuting all levels of offenses from violations to Class A felonies, preparing and arguing pretrial motions, and researching and drafting memoranda for Deputy District Attorneys and presentation to Marion County police chiefs to provide guidance for office policy and local law enforcement of ever-changing drug laws.. While in law school, he ranked second in a class of 100 and received the American Bankruptcy Institute Award and the Bruce Spaulding Trial Competition.
