Firm: Ben Traywick Law Firm, LLC
171 Church Street, #340 , Charleston , South Carolina 29401
Practice Areas: Products Liability, Trucking Accidents, Personal Injury
Ben Traywick is a trial lawyer who represents clients in matters relating to personal injury and wrongful death; defective construction and contractor/developer negligence; investment fraud and money manager negligence/misrepresentation; probate and contested will claims, and various other matters. He has been lead counsel in more than a dozen trials seen through to verdict, in both state and federal courts in South Carolina.. Practicing law in his hometown of Charleston, Ben has a lifetime's worth of great friends and his entire family: parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and his own lovely wife and two little girls. Yet unlike many "locals", Ben embraces the wave of new arrivals the Charleston area has seen in recent years from all over the country. In his view the new folks bring new energy and new ideas which keep the scene here vivid and interesting. In recent years Ben has represented clients hailing from Washington and California, Massachusetts and New York, and of course many from across South Carolina.. Outside of work Ben reads as many good books as possible, wets a fishing line here and there, and hones his chronically mediocre home improvement skills. He serves his neighborhood civic club as its treasurer and attorney, his church on its vestry and as lector, his town on its Historical Commission, and his colleagues in the South Carolina Bar in its House of Delegates.

Firm: Schiller & Hamilton
Po Box 527 , Beaufort , South Carolina 29901
Practice Areas: Personal Injury
Becoming a trial lawyer was inevitable for Bennett J. Schiller, III. He was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1968 the son of Bennett and Marie Schiller. Never having much in the material sense but having parents who put others first, taught Mr. Schiller to have compassion for others. When his family moved to Columbia, South Carolina for his father to attend Columbia Bible College times got even tougher. His dad went to school by day and worked in the cotton mill at night. This impressed upon Mr. Schiller at an early age that nothing replaces hard work and preparation.. After graduating from Lexington High School as the Senior Class President, Mr. Schiller earned a full four year Citadel Scholars Scholarship for academics to The Citadel. While there, Mr. Schiller excelled both in the classroom and in public service to his school and community. He served as the President of Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity. He also was President of the College Republicans. Mr. Schiller earned many awards including Presidents List, Dean’s List, National Merit Scholars, and National Beta Club awards. He was a member of The Citadel Inn of Court and a member of The 1990 Summerall Guards. He earned a BA in Political Science in 1990 from The Citadel.. Before attending law school, Mr. Schiller worked as an office services assistant at McNair Law Firm in Columbia, South Carolina. That is where he met his wife, Karoline Higgins Schiller. Today, they have four beautiful, healthy children. During his time in law school at the University of South Carolina School of Law, Mr. Schiller worked for a successful personal injury firm Lee, Eadon, Isgett and Popwell. It is there that Mr. Schiller developed the passion for serving injured families. While in law school Mr. Schiller served his fellow students and the student Senator to the University of South Carolina’s Student Senate. He also was the President of Phi Delta Phi, The Federalist Society and the Law Republicans. Mr. Schiller enjoyed volunteering at many local charities and organizations including the Oliver Gospel Mission and Harvest Hope Food Bank.. After graduating from USC School of Law in 1994, Mr. Schiller went to work for a local personal injury firm in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He quickly realized the need to be on his own and co-founded the firm Atwater, Schiller and Reeves. During this time Mr. Schiller grew his practice to include Lancaster, Chester, York and Columbia, SC. Mr. Schiller was elected to serve the 16th Circuit as the Circuit Representative on the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar Association. Continuing his public service, Mr. Schiller served on the Board of Directors for the Upper Palmetto YMCA. He and his wife have served on committee for Young Life of York County. Mr. Schiller is also a recent past President of his Home Owners Association.. Recently Mr. Schiller moved his family to Beaufort to get back to his roots. He opened the Beaufort Office in November of 2011 and has grown steadily. He jumped right into serving the community. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Beaufort. He is a member of the Leadership Beaufort Class of 2014. Mr. Schiller currently represents many locals and looks forward to many years of service to the Low Country.. Fighting for others and standing up for the rights of individuals no matter how difficult the circumstances are is what Bennett J. Schiller, III stands for. He has built his firm Schiller & Hamilton to do just that. At Schiller & Hamilton, LLC we take seriously our obligation to serve others and Mr. Schiller sets the example.

Bradford was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the Citadel in 2001. While at the Citadel, Bradford was an academic standout and recipient of the Bernard Baruch and Frank W. Cayce academic scholarships. He was also a member of the football team and served as his company’s athletic officer. In 2005, Bradford obtained his law degree from the University of South Carolina. After graduation, he began his legal career as a law clerk to The Honorable Thomas A. Russo, Circuit Judge of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. Bradford was Judge Russo’s first law clerk and, because of Judge Russo’s at-large position, they presided over criminal and civil cases as far south as Charleston County and as far North as Oconee County. During his time with Judge Russo, Bradford gained invaluable insight into the perspectives, and decision making processes of Judges in a wide variety of cases, both civil and criminal. At the conclusion of his clerkship in 2006, Bradford became an associate of Aiken, Bridges, Elliott, Tyler, & Saleeby, P.A. in his hometown of Florence, South Carolina. During his time with the Aiken, Bridges Firm, Bradford specialized in general civil defense litigation. His areas of practice included personal injury defense, construction defect litigation, medical malpractice defense, premises liability defense, as well as a wide range of constitutional law cases involving alleged violations of the 4th, 5th, 8th, and 14th Amendment rights of detained persons. Bradford’s notable clients included various divisions of the South Carolina Department of Corrections, county detention centers across the Pee Dee Region, as well as city and county law enforcement officials themselves. During his time in Florence, Bradford also handled many DSS child abuse/neglect cases where he acted as attorney for parents as well as Guardian Ad Litem for children. In April of 2010, Bradford relocated to Charleston, where he has quickly expanded his areas of practice to, plaintiff’s personal injury, criminal defense, and family law matters. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal district courts of South Carolina, and is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Charleston County Bar Associations, and South Carolina Association for Justice. Bradford is capable of handling a wide range of legal issues, and is passionate about helping the citizens of the Charleston area. Bradford is an avid outdoorsman, and when he is not fighting for his clients, he enjoys spending his free time at the beach.

Any results the lawyer or the law firm may have achieved on behalf of clients in other matters does not necessarily indicate results can be obtained for other clients.. Immediately after passing the South Carolina Bar, Attorney Caroline Temple began working at George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers in the Veterans Disability Law subdivision. Her passion for people, especially for veterans, has allowed for her to represent clients to ensure that they receive the disability payments they deserve. She understands that in today’s society, veterans are often over-looked. For this reason, she works hard to make sure each of her veteran clients is comfortable and confident through the entire case process.. Before beginning her career in law, Temple attended Louisiana State University where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in English, minoring in Italian. During this time, she was a part of Delta Delta Delta Sorority which allowed for her to be a major part of charity events, such as ones that benefitted the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital and Habitat for Humanity. Temple remained at LSU while she completed her Juris Doctorate, which she graduated cum laude. During law school, she spent a summer studying personal injury and insurance defense firms in Lyon, France. After her law school completion, Temple became licensed in Louisiana and practiced corporate and insurance defense litigation in New Orleans.
