I concentrate my practice in the areas of probate, elder law and tax and estate planning.  My primary area of practice is in the drafting and implementation of estate plans ranging from drafting simple Wills and counseling clients on how assets pass at death to drafting, funding and implementing complex Trusts for estate and gift tax reduction. I am a candidate for my LL.M. in Tax at the University of Florida which I expect to complete in the Spring of 2025. I am one of 26 attorneys in Tennessee certified as a specialist in Estate Planning Law (as of January, 2024).. I am the Chair of the Trust Committee and Vice-Chair for the Trust Legislative Committee for the Tennessee Bankers Association. The Trust Legislative Committee is responsible for modernizing Tennessee's Trust laws.. I am a member of the Executive Committee for the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Trust and Trust Legislative Committees for the Tennessee Bankers' Association and the Estate Planning Council of Middle Tennessee..
