I am a founding and managing partner of The Tyler Peery Law Firm. I practice throughout all of the counties of Texas and have personally tried cases in South Texas, the Texas Hill Country and the Panhandle. My family roots go back to the very beginning days of Texas history and the Alamo. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1983 and graduated from St. Mary’s Law School in 1986. I passed the State Bar exam the first time I took it and became licensed in November 1986. In the first couple of years of my practice, I worked with an insurance defense oriented firm and soon realized that I did not feel comfortable representing insurance companies and providing a defense to them in personal injury cases. With a leap of courage and a hopeful outlook for the future, I left that firm and started Tyler and Peery in late 1989 and early 1990 which was the best decision that I ever made in my professional practice. I have found it both rewarding and honorable to represent those who are in need.. I am licensed to practice law in all state courts of Texas since 1986 and have been a member of the State Bar since that date. I am licensed to practice law in Federal Court for the Western District of Texas. I have been a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, The San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association. I am rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell and am board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.. My practice involves all aspects of personal injury claims and wrongful death litigation but my main focus usually involves 18 wheeler cases, automobile cases and premises liability.
