Location: Texas Background: My SO ("Jazz") allowed a friend ("Bob") of hers to crash at her apartment for several months when he had nowhere else to go. About four months ago, Bob got arrested for violating a protective order from his ex, and he either couldn't or wouldn't post bail, so he's been in jail ever since. So that left Jazz with a bunch of his stuff sitting at her apartment. Now, they've been in regular contact ever since. Bob asked a while back about some items from Jazz's apartment related to his legal defense; specifically a laptop computer, an old phone, and some paperwork. He suggested that either another friend of his ("Nick") or maybe his cousin could come pick the stuff up. This stuff has been set aside ever since then - for something like three months now. Despite repeated messaging, Nick never gets to the point of proposing a time to come get it. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, yesterday Nick messaged Jazz and threatened to file a police report for the "stolen property" if she didn't either provide a tracking number or a "concrete plan" to hand it off. Now from where I sit, we're doing our duty here. We've offered repeatedly to be available to hand off the stuff any time, day or night. It's not like there have been a bunch of instances where Nick says "hey can I come by this evening" and we declined, or anything like that. I guess the question…

LOCATION: TEXAS over the last two years hes been in and out while waiting for this trial and then last year, he took a guilty def adjudication plea for ~7 years of probation… he quickly violated the terms and a warrant was issued for his arrest after 8 months of not appearing for probation…. he just got arrested last month for that warrant… and is being held on no bail for the charge he took on deferred. is it true that he will now do the max time in prison for the charge since he’s already plead guilty on deferred adjudication? he also picked up a few other charges at the time of his arrest that have bonds set according to the jail roster. the charge is continuous violence against the family.

Location: Carrollton, texas So I got a ticket for failure to yield traffic approaching. Although I think the ticket is bogus because the intersection where I got it is dangerous. Although you can't see traffic coming from one side until you're going, I'm not sure if I'm gonna fight it. I looked up this ticket and apparently it's a class c misdemeanor? So if I plead guilty or lose my probation I will have this on my criminal record? can someone explain? I didn't know traffic tickets could be on criminal record.

I’m on probation in Texas. I failed 1 ua and had 2 dilutions. I also have an ankle monitor that died twice and I violated curfew around my house. How likely is it that they will revoke it completely and issue a warrant. Do they usually start with sanctions and consequences outside of revocation. I go see my po in 2 days and I’m stressing hard. Im going to try to address it then and tell her I’ve been drinking and am willing to take classes or whatever I can to make this probation a success Location: Texas
