Location: Texas Her will has the house being left to me, my aunt, my uncle, and my mom. Everyone is willing to sign their parts over to me, as me and my kids lived in the home with my grandmother for the years leading up to her death. My uncle is supposed to be the executor of the estate, but we haven't started probate. Is probate something we absolutely have to do?
