My clientele consists primarily of privately held businesses and their owners, though I also represent several non-profit and trade associations. My goal is to be a profit or savings center for all clients.. In addition to practicing law, I teach in Georgetown University's MBA Program and Catholic University's Law School. I have also taught in Georgetown's law School and formerly was the chief legal instructor for the Northern Virginia Assoc. of Realtors.. Additionally, I served for 8 years on the Virginia State Board for Professional & Occupational Regulation, having been appointed and reappointed by two Virginia Governors. I was elected Chair by the Board in 6 of my 8 years.. I have sat on a number of boards of directors, both in for-profit and non-profit entities,. I have held clearances from the U.S. Dept. of Defense in order to act in certain cases and for certain clients.. My experience includes cases as an arbitrator and as a mediator, through both private entities (e.g. AAA) and Courts (e.g. Virginia Supreme Court).
