Mr. Homiller graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Latin. While attending college, he was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa. Mr. Homiller earned his law degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where he was named to the Order of the Barristers. During law school, Mr. Homiller actively participated in moot court and won the Best Brief Award at the 2002 Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition.. During his time at Hampden-Sydney, Mr. Homiller became active with the Prince Edward Volunteer Rescue Squad by providing emergency medical care to the residents of Farmville, Virginiaand the surrounding counties. Mr. Homiller continued this work upon graduating from college by working as a paramedic for the Richmond Ambulance Authority. While he is no longer actively involved in emergency medical services, Charles continues to serve as the legal advisor to the Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad. In his spare time, Mr. Homiller is an avid pianist and is also an enthusiastic basketball player and golfer, and enjoys all types of outdoor activities. Charles is married and has two sons.
