I believe my role as an attorney is to help my clients quickly, efficiently, and effectively resolve their disputes. As part of that, I am committed to keeping my clients informed, making sure they understand the process, the options available, and the potential risks and benefits of each option. Because most people are involved in very few lawsuits during their lifetime, I make sure each client is given the necessary guidance along the way.. I firmly believes in the value of resolving matters by agreement rather than through litigation. This allows the parties to craft more creative agreements, potentially maintain an amicable relationship even after the case is resolved, and typically costs far less than litigation. On the other hand, when necessary,I am fully prepared to advocate for my clients in court to protect their interests. I have experience handling family law cases, real estate matters, contract disputes, business and employment issues, and many others. For the past 10 years,  I have helped my clients reach successful resolution in these areas, through negotiation, litigation, and appellate work. I also act as a mediator to help parties reach an agreed resolution.

Neal Feinerman

Firm: Law Offices of Neal T. Feinerman
400 112th Ave NE Ste 240 , Bellevue , Washington 98004
Practice Areas: Family
I started the practice of law in California in 1977 (where I am still licensed), moving to the State of Washington in 1980. My practice has been centered on family law for 25 years.. My office prides itself on providing quality legal work for our clients, while at the same time caring about who we represent during a very stressful and disruptive time in their lives.  We strive to keep our clients involved in their proceedings and apprised of what is going on as we progress through the process.. While I am very comfortable in the courtroom, I have a keen awareness that as a practical matter the court process is often the most expensive and least efficient way to resolve any dispute.  This means that we use negotation, agreement and mediation whenever possible.. We will provide you with the knowledge, experience and understanding that you need at what is often one of the most difficult times in your life.

Natalie Roberts

701 Fifth Ave , Seattle , Washington 98104
Practice Areas: Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Family, LGBT+, Prenuptials, Uncontested Divorce, Alimony, Domestic Violence, Divorce & Separation, Divorce & Separation, Divorce & Separation
Natalie Roberts has spent the entirety of her legal career mastering her skills in family law.  She is well distinguished in the legal community and known for her persistent, intelligent and strategic litigation – both in the court room and in negotiations.. When hand-crafting her legal arguments for the court room, Natalie keeps her client’s quality of life and financial stability at the forefront.  She understands that every decision/request throughout a case can have major life impacts on her clients such as transporting your children to and from exchanges, ensuring you have enough spousal maintenance to pay your monthly bills, or protecting your assets to ensure the other party does not dispose of them.  These details are all important.  For these reasons, Natalie takes time to meet with her clients and go over every aspect of the case and her proposed strategies.  Natalie firmly believes that success in or out of the courtroom requires a strong, collaborative working relationship with her clients.. Experience and a good reputation also helps when negotiating with the opposing counsel/party.  She understands that not every case is meant for the courtroom and will often suggest mediation or initiating negotiations.  Mediation can be, and most often is, a place where two very disagreeable parties can reach an agreement.  Reaching an agreement usually means both parties can move on with their lives quicker and in a more positive atmosphere versus going to trial, which is extremely stressful for clients and their family/friends.. While reaching an agreement is generally the preferred outcome, that does not always happen.  In that situation, Natalie is prepared.  She is not shy in the courtroom and has represented clients in all facets of family law trials.  Natalie has the attention to detail, work ethic, and knowledge to handle difficult, complex cases at trial.. Prior to working at Envision Family Law, Natalie worked for several years at a high-volume law firm in Seattle.  Having worked for several years primarily in the Seattle area, Natalie established an excellent relationship with other attorneys in King County and is a familiar face to the judges and commissioners on the bench.  Natalie’s practice is not limited to King County and she has significant experience in Snohomish County and Pierce County as well.. Natalie graduated Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2009.  Prior to law school, Natalie attended the University of Tulsa and received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in English Literature.  Natalie was a member of the Division One University of Tulsa track and cross-country teams.  Natalie still enjoys running in her spare time.  Natalie also enjoys sailing, skiing, and other outdoor activities with her family.

I have been an attorney for over 35 years and have been serving the Seattle metropolitan area for over 20 years. I graduated from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts with a B.A in history and later obtained my Juris Doctor from the University Of Maryland School of Law.. My legal career began with the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare as a lawyer representing the federal government in Black Lung suits. After a short time, I transitioned into representing the Welfare program in the Federal Court of Appeals. In my most cited case, Soberal-Perez v. Schweiker, I represented the Social Security Administration in a lawsuit over disability benefit notices being in languages other than English.. After I met my husband, we moved to Washington with our six children. I obtained a position with the Washington State Court of Appeals Division I as a staff attorney doing research and general support for the Court. I soon left the court in 1993 and pursued a career in the private sector with Culp, Guterson, and Grader and with Foster Pepper where I was of counsel. At Foster Pepper, I represented Eva Bandy in the nationally renowned case Bandy v. Bandy, dealing with wiretapping. After I left Foster Pepper in 1994, I decided to start my own firm, The Law Offices of Natalie de Maar.. My personal experience with divorce and raising my own children and step children has had a profound effect on my practice. I am a compassionate and skilled lawyer who is sensitive to my clients’ needs and tough in the courtroom. I work tirelessly to help my clients achieve a fair result, and help them through the difficult and emotional process of resolving disputes.. I look forward to working with you for your family law needs.

Early in her career Monique gained experience in various areas of law as indicated in her Professional Experience below.. Attorney.   Monique was born in Verviers, Belgium and immigrated to the United States with her parents at a young age.  Monique earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now known as Seattle University School of Law) in 1985.  She continued her legal training through McGeorge University School of Law at their Salzburg, Austria Campus, earning a Diploma in Transnational Legal Practice.  She then moved to Paris, France where she completed an internship with an international French law firm.  She was sworn in as an Attorney licensed to practice in Washington State at the U.S. Embassy in Paris.  She remained in Paris for over 2 years where she continued to work for various private French law firms and eventually met and married her husband.  Monique returned to Seattle, WA with her husband in December of 1987.  Monique and her husband, Frederic, are the proud parents of three grown daughters, two of whom work with Monique as her paralegals.  Upon her return to Washington, Monique did contract work for various Seattle law firms until she began her private solo practice, which included immigration and family law.  Because Monique speaks French fluently, she has received referrals for Immigration, Adoption and Family Law cases from the French Consulate in San Francisco as well as the Honorary French Consulate in Seattle.  Monique successfully obtained asylum for a client who fled persecution in Zaire and adjusted the status of several French Nationals enabling them to work or become permanent residents of the United States.   Her empathy and compassion for others led her to volunteer to represent a financially disadvantaged victim of domestic violence through the Family Law Mentor program.  This and similar experiences eventually led her to focus her practice on domestic law, child support, custody, including interstate UCCJEA cases, adoptions, Guardian ad litem and mediation.  She particularly enjoys using her family law experience to help parties resolve their disputes.  Finally, she has supported our U.S. military by volunteering her time to provide Washington Family Law training to the JAGs at the Whidbey Island Naval Base.. Monique is currently admitted to practice in the Lummi Tribal Court.. Mediator.  Monique has successfully mediated settlement conferences between private parties as well as parties represented by attorneys in compliance with the settlement conference requirements mandated in several Washington Counties.. About Monique.  Monique met and married her husband, Frederic, in Paris, France in 1986.  They moved to Seattle at the end of 1987 and had three beautiful daughters, who are now young adults and on their own.  Monique is bi-lingual, French being her first language.  She enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling, spending time in the outdoors and at their property in Chelan, WA.  Monique loves animals and passed on to her children that love and compassion for animals.  Monique and her husband currently share their home with 3 dogs and 3 cats.  Sometimes she brings her Maltese “Tucker” to the office to hang out.

You can see by the website how the "rating" is calculated.  However, potential clients should not consider my rating as a determining factor in whether or not you desire to use my services.  Each case is different, and a personal consultation is the best way for both of us to determine if we are a good "fit" for your case.  Client reviews, while appreciated, are not a determining factor that you will have the same or likely result in your case, as all cases are different and based upon different factors.. I have been practicing law (family and criminal) since 1993, and have focused my practice solely on family law issues since 2004.  I feel very privileged to meet and work with my clients.  I hope my clients view my work and involvement in their cases as a positive experience, despite the typically difficult legal situation that has resulted in our professional relationship.  I feel very fortunate to have friendly and diligent staff, and they are certainly one of my best assets.  I hope you have the opportunity to meet and get to know them..
