Centers for applied technology - Advisory committees

(a) In carrying out its functions under this section, §§ 15-3-130 - 15-3-132 , and 15-3-134 , the Division of Science and Technology of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission may create such advisory committees as may be useful in evaluating potential technological areas and centers for applied technology. (b) The memberships of these advisory committees may include both directors and staff members of the division and other persons drawn from sources other than the division, all of whom shall serve at the pleasure of the Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. (c) Members of such advisory committees shall serve without compensation for their membership on such committees but may receive expense reimbursement in accordance with § 25-16-901 et seq.
