Solicitation or acceptance of bribe prohibited

(a) No member or employee of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board or director or any employee of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division or the Alcoholic Beverage Control Enforcement Division shall solicit or accept, directly or indirectly, any gift, gratuity, emolument, or employment from any manufacturer, distributor, wholesaler, or retailer of alcoholic beverages or any person who is an applicant for any license under this subchapter, or from any officer, agent, or employee thereof. (b) No such person shall directly or indirectly solicit, request from, or recommend to any such person or to any officer, agent, or employee thereof the appointment of any person to any place or position.
