Official statutory text

In maintaining the system, the department shall:

(a) Consult and cooperate with school districts, county superintendents, advisory committees on integrated data processing, task forces for implementing the utilization of a statewide information system, intergovernmental boards on electronic data processing and state electronic data processing policy committees created by statute or by executive order of the Governor.

(b) Cooperate with the Educational Management and Evaluation Commission in all matters relating to program budgeting.
