Official statutory text

Any funds collected by the secretary pursuant to this article shall be deposited in the Department of Food and Agriculture Fund, and notwithstanding Section 13340 of the Government Code, are hereby continuously appropriated, without regard to fiscal years, for administration, research, control of pests, and enforcement of this chapter, as advised by the board and approved by the secretary, less the funds used to reimburse counties pursuant to subdivision (b) of Section 29044.
