Official statutory text
The two Members of the Legislature who represent the Assembly and Senate district in which the California Exposition and State Fair facilities are located and the chairperson and vice chairperson of the Joint Committee on Fairs Allocation and Classification shall meet with and, except as otherwise provided by the Constitution, advise the board to the extent that such advisory participation is not incompatible with their duties as Members of the Legislature.
