Official statutory text
The authority shall have those powers of a redevelopment agency created by Part 1 (commencing with Section 33000) of Division 24 of the Health and Safety Code, which the authority, by resolution, from time to time deems appropriate, and such powers shall be deemed to be powers common to the Department of General Services and the City of Sacramento. Additionally, the authority shall be deemed a housing authority for purposes of eligibility for participation in state programs and receipt of state grants, loans, or other funding for which a housing authority is eligible; this does not constitute a change in, but is declaratory of, the existing law.
