Official statutory text
The state shall have no liability arising from the project and its operation, and shall have no operational or maintenance responsibility for the project. The grantee shall guarantee performance in carrying out the project as “performance” is defined by the Legislature and as represented to the granting state agency. The grantee shall maintain adequate insurance to recover the state’s investment in the event of loss.
