Official statutory text

Nothing in this chapter shall be deemed to supersede the responsibilities of a state agency or regional or local agency except as expressly provided. Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to conflict with Section 6443.5, 6444, 6444.1, 6444.2, or 6444.3 of the Education Code.

The commission succeeds to and is vested with all powers and responsibilities previously vested in the Director and Department of General Services by Section 14657 and Article 8 (commencing with Section 14716) of Chapter 2 of Part 5.5 of Division 3 of Title 2.
