Official statutory text
Any duty imposed by this part on any county officer shall be deemed imposed on the county officers of the respective counties in which is situated a sanitary district reorganized under Section 4857 of this code from a county sanitation district encompassing territory in more than one county; provided, that where appropriate, the board may select the officers of one county to perform such duties for the entire district.
