Official statutory text

Notwithstanding Section 10 of Chapter 66 of the Statutes of 1999, the director shall contract with the Department of General Services or a mutually agreeable private contractor to provide assistance with project management and oversight of the project. Independent professional services contracts may be entered into for inspection services, construction management services, or any other services necessary for proper administration of the project.
