Official statutory text
In addition to all other powers granted under this part, the district shall have the right to acquire, construct and complete any improvements authorized hereunder by special assessment proceedings. The Improvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915 are applicable to the district and the powers and duties conferred by those acts upon the boards, officers and agents of the district; provided, that the improvements authorized to be constructed or acquired by this section are limited to those permitted to be constructed or acquired by the district under the provisions of this part.
