Official statutory text

All money collected from assessments shall be paid out only on warrants issued for works or other expenses covered by the assessment from which the money was derived, to the end that all money raised by assessment upon any of the lands embraced in the drainage district, shall be expended only for works of reclamation or other expenses, beneficial to the lands so assessed, and for the payment of warrants issued for the construction of the works and other expenses for which the assessment was levied.
