Official statutory text
(a) Grants awarded pursuant to Section 13305 shall be provided only to nonprofit organizations that meet the requirements set forth either in Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code or in Section 23701d of the Revenue and Taxation Code and have at least three years of experience with both of the following:
(1) Conducting education and outreach with immigrant populations.
(2) Conducting outreach for government benefits and programs.
