Official statutory text
For a person living in a nonmedical out-of-home care facility the department may establish varying allowances for room, board and care, provided that the minimum allowance shall not be less than five hundred sixty-three dollars ($563) per month and the amount so established shall be subject to the provisions set forth in Section 12201.
The room, board, and care allowance established pursuant to this section does not include the personal and incidental needs established pursuant to Section 13921.
