§ Â 1014A. Membership in National Healthcare Safety Network.

Official statutory text

All hospitals in this State shall join the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention’s National Healthcare Safety Network or its successor. If the Network is not open for enrollment, all hospitals shall join the Network within 180 days after the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention permits such enrollment. Hospitals shall authorize the Department to have access to hospital-specific data contained in the National Healthcare Safety Network database consistent with the requirements of this chapter. With the concurrence of the Advisory Committee the Department may require other healthcare facilities through regulation to join the National Healthcare Safety Network as may be appropriate in accordance with this chapter.
