State data center.

Official statutory text

A state data center is established in the department. The state data center shall be administered by the state data center coordinator, who shall do all of the following:

(1) Manage the state data center program to make United States census data available to the residents of Iowa under rules the department adopts.

(2) Act as the state’s liaison with the United States census bureau in matters relating to United States decennial, economic, and agricultural census data, and population estimates and projections.

(3) Perform other duties imposed by law or prescribed by the department.
