§15–124.

Official statutory text

(a) In this section, “group health insurance” has the meaning stated in § 15–301 of this title.

(b) This section applies to insurers and nonprofit health service plans that issue or deliver group health insurance policies in the State.

(c) An entity subject to this section when issuing or renewing a group health insurance policy with an employer that does not include dependent coverage shall provide enrollment information to insured employees regarding the methods of enrolling any dependent of an insured employee in the Maryland Children’s Health Program established under § 15-301 of the Health - General Article.
