§10–703.

Official statutory text

Employees of an abolished or superseded unit who are in the skilled service or professional service of the State Personnel Management System, with the exception of special appointments:

(1) keep their status as skilled service or professional service employees; and

(2) in accordance with the provisions of the State Personnel and Pensions Article that govern skilled service or professional service employees and the regulations adopted under them, are eligible for reemployment by the successor or by another unit in the respective skilled service or professional service position in the State Personnel Management System.
