Instruction or training; liability.

Official statutory text

Sec. 5i.

A person or entity that provides instruction or training to another person under section 5b is immune from civil liability for damages to any person or property caused by the person who was trained.

This section does not apply if the person or entity providing the instruction or training was grossly negligent.

This section is in addition to and not in lieu of immunity otherwise provided by law.
