N.H. Rev. Stat. § 7:6-h

I. There is hereby established the health care consumer protection advisory commission, which shall consult with and advise the attorney general relative to the proper administration and management of the health care consumer protection trust fund, as established in RSA 7:6-g, and shall approve all expenditures from that trust fund. II. The commission shall consist of the following members: (a) The attorney general, or designee. (b) The commissioner of the department of health and human services, or designee. (c) The commissioner of the department of insurance, or designee. (d) One member of the house of representatives, appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives. (e) One member of the senate, appointed by the president of the senate. (f) Two public members with experience in the health care industry, appointed by the governor. III. Each member of the advisory commission shall have one vote, with all actions being taken by an affirmative vote of the majority of present members. Four members shall constitute a quorum. The advisory commission shall elect a chair and vice-chair from among its members. Public members of the advisory commission shall serve 2- year terms. IV. Members of the advisory commission shall receive no compensation except for legislative members who shall receive the legislative rate for mileage when attending to their duties on the commission. V. Meetings of the advisory commission shall be conducted in accordance with RSA 91-A and take place as necessary to ensure efficient and responsible expenditure of funds. VI. The department of justice shall provide administrative support to the advisory commission.
