The committee shall give priority to the purchase of land in those cases in which the committee determines that sale of the land to a third party is likely to lead to loss of all or substantially all of the land for agricultural use and production or is likely to negatively impact on the maintenance of a positive agricultural business climate in the municipality or county in which the land is located. L. 1989, c. 28, s. 4.
