17. a. The Division of Consumer Affairs in the Department of Law and Public Safety shall employ a full-time Health Care Professional Information Clearinghouse Coordinator to assist the Director of the Division of Consumer Affairs in compiling and disseminating to the appropriate licensing board or other applicable entity the information reported to the division by health care entities and professionals pursuant to this act and such other information as specified by the director. b. The director shall provide that the professional and occupational licensing boards which license or otherwise authorize a health care professional to practice a health care profession with professional and administrative staff as may be needed to carry out the purposes of this act.
