Recording of leases and assignments thereof.
Official statutory text
50:1-29. The commissioner shall cause leases, and assignments and transfers thereof, to be recorded in books kept in the offices of the department. No assignment or transfer of any ground or lease therefor shall be valid unless approved by the commissioner and the council and forthwith recorded in the office of the department. Amended 1979, c.199, s.21; 2007, c.338, s.15.
