Inclusion of amount of state aid in municipal budget

Official statutory text

It shall be lawful in any year for a municipality receiving State aid pursuant to this act, upon notification by the State Treasurer of the amount of State aid to be received, to include an amount equal to such amount in its annual budget or any amendments or supplements thereto. Immediately thereafter, commitments may be made by such a municipality against the amounts so included in its budget or amendments or supplements thereto. L.1980, c. 12, s. 9, eff. March 18, 1980.
