§ 33. Acceptance of work. Upon the completion of the improvement,\nmaintenance or repair of any part of the canal system under a contract\nlet, as provided in this article, the corporation shall cause the same\nto be inspected, and upon the filing in the office of the corporation of\na certificate stating that the work has been well and faithfully\nperformed, in accordance with the terms of the contract, and all legal\nmodifications thereof, the work shall be deemed accepted and\ncertificates for final payment on the contract executed.\n
