§ 35. Certain federal aid improvements. This article shall not impair\nnor affect provisions of chapter six hundred eighty-eight of the laws of\nnineteen hundred thirty-four which authorize and direct compliance with\nthe federal laws, rules, regulations and conditions which govern\ncontracts and expenditures for the canal improvements authorized or\nprosecuted by or under such chapter, with financial aid from the federal\ngovernment; and this article shall apply to such improvements and to\ncontracts therefor only in so far as it is consistent with such\nprovisions.\n
