§ 835. Jefferson county hospital for contagious diseases. The board of\nsupervisors of the county of Jefferson is hereby authorized to maintain\nand operate a hospital in such county for the treatment and control of\ncommunicable diseases and may annually appropriate such sums as it may\ndeem proper and necessary for the support, operation and maintenance of\nsuch hospital. The expenses thereof shall be raised by taxation levied\nand assessed against the taxable property in the county of Jefferson.\n
